Besides traditional GIS uses, at Edward Jones we use Esri's technology in a unique way... inventory management. We are a rapidly growing financial services firm with over 4,500 locations. The firm plans to expand to over 10,000 locations in the next five years. Currently, we are opening nearly 200 offices a month. GIS is the only system that allows us to track who is going where and what locations are still available. The heart of our system is a custom application called MAPS, powered by numerous Esri software programs.
