Digital orthophotos combine the qualities of an image and the geometry of a map. The proposed purpose of this paper will be to explain the qualities of DOQs to the business community. DOQs can assist in facilities management, sales planning, forecasting, and demographic analysis. The cost of DOQs has gone down significantly and one can now purchase one-meter DOQs for a county for roughly $32.00. These are an excellent addition to any business mapping application.
