This program is an introduction to the new 2011 Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/ACSM Land Title Surveys which have recently been adopted by the American Land Title Association and the National Society of Professional Surveyors and which become effective on February 23, 2011.

In addition to many changes, this version of the ALTA/ACSM Standard is the first complete rewrite and reorganization of the Standard since it was first adopted in 1962.

The program will include a detailed explanation of the newly reorganized Standard, together with a section-by-section discussion of the new content. In addition, the presenter will provide insight into the exact purpose behind each of the changes and additions.
