GIS, Surveying and Cadastral Management for Illinois DOT Project

In the course of performing a large Land Acquisition project for the Illinois Department of Transportation, Illinois Route 59 in DuPage County, Illinois, I have utilized ArcGIS for Surveyors and ArcMap for many facets of the project. The Land Acquisition involves more than 100 different parcels, of greatly varying sizes. Each parcel is related to a vesting deed, a title commitment, and other assorted documents. Each parcel to be acquired is described in a new document, which will be recorded in a deed. The GIS parcels are related to the data, and the project is effectively managed through the use of GIS.
