Phone: 7709861361 The Office of Information Services in the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) is responsible for providing data and mapping information for the GDOT. Recently the GIS group developed a USGS quarter quad mapping system that has proven very useful and versatile in providing GIS information for GDOT and the State. This paper addresses how this mapping system was implemented using the DOQQ index code, which other agencies may find beneficial to fully use existing data. |
