An integrated storm water data set has been generated for the City of Adelaide in South Australia for asset management and flow modeling. The storm water data set includes all pipes and junction features for the local government areas of Adelaide and is the first example of cross government area storm water infrastructure mapping in Australia. With the data set the State and local governments are able to model storm water events to alert emergency services, predict areas of flooding, assess where pollution spills will go through the system, or identify potential contributing properties. The data set is also useful as an asset management system for council engineering departments.
