Abstract
ArcIMS? An Installation Management Tool

This paper presents the use of ArcIMS in the U.S. Army Space & Missile Defense Command's Installation Management Program and explores the integration of ArcIMS and its role in the overall management of a military installation infrastructure. The Installation Management Program is focused on the demands of running and maintaining military installations. ArcIMS addresses the need for a centralized, Web-based, user-friendly tool for installation management. Sites are being developed using ArcIMS to allow access to installation drawings, environmental review, and master planning.
