United Nations Environment Programme Launches UNEP.net

The United Nations Environment Programme has launched a new interactive environmental Web site www.UNEP.net. UNEP.net, a gateway into the Geography Network, offers a forum for scientific and technical peer review; provides insights on environmental issues to the global community; and facilitates the exchange of ideas, information and data. UNEP.net builds on the wealth of scientific information available from numerous environmental institutions.
