Abstract
The Minerals Management Service's Deep Water Environmental Data Model

The Minerals Management Service (MMS) manages and regulates offshore minerals resource development in all of the United States territorial seas. The MMS has developed the Technical Information Management System (TIMS) to provide data and analyses for government regulators and policymakers. The Coastal and Offshore Resource Information System (CORIS) is the environmental data component within TIMS that provides information and analyses for use in regulatory, permitting, and leasing decisions and analyses.
