Abstract
Local Government Enterprise-Wide Address Management System

The Cincinnati Area GIS (CAGIS) has developed an enterprise GIS based on the Esri suite of software that currently has more than 1,500 users who employ GIS in mission-critical business processes. GIS is integral to Cincinnati's business language. Among the many factors that have enabled the successful deployment of GIS in Cincinnati is the development of a real-time, business process embedded GIS address and geocode management system. This system is key to data sharing and system integration across all the participating agencies. This paper will discuss how this was developed, and deployed and will demonstrate the desktop interfaces for maintaining and using address-related data for integration and applications.
