AbstractGermantown, Tennessee, Integrates ArcInfo 8 and ArcFM with Water Modeling for Capital Improvements Planning Track: Water Distribution, Wastewater, and Stormwater Author(s): Scott Paul Cattran Water, wastewater, and storm water utilities are realizing the benefits of using a GIS as an information hub to link peripheral systems for capital improvements planning. This session describes how the City of Germantown, Tennessee, customized ArcFM to support integration with a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system and integration with Haestad Methods WaterCAD modeling software to determine "replace or repair"-type strategies. This session describes how these systems were integrated, why they were integrated this way, and the resulting modeling scenarios.
