Abstract
Utilizing GIS to Optimize Wireless Operations

This paper will describe how GIS is utilized as part of an overall wireless operations support system. The system brings together operational data of all types (e.g., customer records, network configuation, fault records) and utilizes GIS as part of the decision-support framework. How this information is then used in a GIS-based planning and engineering tool set is also discussed.
