AbstractMapping the Long Gray Line Track: Cartography and Map Production Author(s): Dale R. Manry This paper presents the use of GIS in support of the Bicentennial Celebration of the United States Military Academy (1802-2002). For the past 30 years, the Geography Department has produced a hometown map for each new class of cadets. The first phase of this project uses GIS to produce the hometown map in order to allow for user interaction of the cadet database. The second phase transitions the project to a Web-based application. The final phase increases the database to include all graduates of the U.S. Military. Dale R. Manry United States Military Academy D/G&EnE ATTN: CPT (P) Dale R.
