Abstract
Stormwater Outfall Inventory for NPDES Compliance

This paper will discuss how two municipalities in South Carolina are using GIS and GPS to meet National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) requirements for medium/large municipal separate storm sewer systems (MS4). The paper will discuss the field data collection, water quality sampling, spatial analysis, and the results of the projects and how the project detected and eliminated illicit discharges into the storm sewer systems.
