AbstractTime Series GIS Modeling Track: Modeling Author(s): Andres Abeyta You have made a map of locations of your known features, but should your GIS stop there? This paper outlines a frame-based modeling approach that adds the dimensions of time and rates of change to project future landscape maps. With these maps and some generated summary statistics, an agency can feel empowered in their land management decisions. The current application of this modeling construct is being applied to BLM sage grouse habitat preservation. The simplified data inputs are vegetation, rainfall, grazing impact, and fire occurrence.
