Abstract
Mapping for MOTW (Military Operations Other Than War)

The Marine Corps Intelligence Activity is developing new products for MOTW (Military Operations Other Than War) operations. Often, these types of geospatial products are created in areas of the world where data sources are limited. Using imagery and open source-based information, MCIA has created a variety of new GIS solutions creating maps for disaster relief assessment, urban threat assessments, and humanitarian relief assistance.
