There are numerous ways to access the LandView Where Window from within ArcView.

• From within ArcView turn on the LandView extension. A LandView icon appears as a button in the view document. When you press the LandView button the Where Window is opened up and the Display Window button is renamed "ArcView". Pressing the renamed button in LandView zooms the active view in ArcView to the desired extent chosen in the LandView Where Window.

 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 



When zoomed in, a graphic appears that shows the XY coordinates of the point.


 

• From within ArcView turn on the Quick Themes extension.  A LandView button will appear as an option on the Quick Themes Dialog Box.  Follow the same procedure as in the above explanation for using this feature.

 

 
 

















• Other applications such as Parks Archeological Sites and Natural Heritage and County Biological Survey ArcView Programs also access the LandView Where Window.
