Abstract
 Capital Project Tracking: A GIS Solution Track: State and Local Government Author(s): Neil Garlock Seminole County's Public Works Department needed a way to view and share its 300-plus Capital Improvement Projects (CIPs) among its' five divisions and residents in an easy to understand, accurate and up-to-date environment. Previously project data was only available though multiple spreadsheets and databases littered amongst project managers and budget administrators computers from five divisions, in multiple locations. Seminole County used Esri software to tie together project creation, budget administration, project management, construction, and conflict monitoring into a comprehensive system that is easier to maintain, analyze, and understand for both our internal and external customers.
