Abstract
Partnering Municipalities with Private SectorTrack: State and Local Government

This project demonstrates how a software designed to archive and distribute satellite imagery was simply modified to use municipalities' tax roll information and Esri coverages and shapefiles to distribute on the Internet. The project between Los Angeles County and Core Software allows a customer to search by location, assessor parcel number, map book, or owner to purchase tax roll information, mailing labels, shapefiles, vector files, or any type of spatial or digital data. Products are immediately delivered through e-mail or CD-ROM.
