AbstractIntegrating Remote Sensing Data with a GIS Application for Precision Agriculture Customers Track: Agriculture Author(s): Kevin R. Turner This paper presents the use of GIS in providing a product for displaying and interpreting hyperspectral data for the viticulture industry and other agriculture industries. The project used airborne hyperspectral images to analyze the Hanna Vineyards in Napa, California. Analysis of the data included species identification, quantification of missing vines, and health status. The paper focuses on how large amounts of postprocessed spectral data can be displayed and distributed in a form that is simple to use yet meaningful to the customer. Ball Aerospace and Technologies Corporation is involved in the collection, postprocessing, and analysis of airborne and spaceborne remote sensing data for both civilian and governmental purposes.
