Abstract
Model-Oriented Generalization RulesTrack: Database Design, Automation, and Management

This paper presents rules for deriving a new database from an initial database using generalization. When we apply map generalization operators in ArcInfo to the database, it results in evolutions of the data model. We need to control those evolutions for deriving the new database successfully.
