Serving Maps (and Dinner!) for "Brooklyn Eats" at iBrooklyn.comTrack: Business, Banking, and Insurance

Brooklyn, New York, has three million people and thousands of restaurants, featuring virtually any cuisine in the world. For the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, CommunityCartography developed MapObjects-based Internet applications to enable people to find restaurants and other information about their communities. Ease of use was essential to our design strategy. We focused on creating pages that were simple for the average Internet user to easily navigate, and we dealt with many issues of Web design that become critical when GIS is served on the Internet. iBrooklyn.com includes map pages for property data, transportation, census data, and administrative districts as well as restaurants.
