AbstractArcIMS Watershed Atlas Educates Through Technology Integration Track: New Technology and Technology Integration Author(s): Kyle Campbell, Shawn Landry Seminole County, Florida, identified a need to develop a Watershed Atlas that would provide near real-time water resource data. The Florida Center for Community Design and Research was commissioned by the County to develop this Atlas in ArcIMS using Active Server Page technology, built upon the success of the Hillsborough County (Florida) Lake Atlas. The Watershed Atlas presents data in a thin client, user-friendly manner that educates citizens in the topics of water quality, watershed management, and environmental stewardship. Technologies utilized in the project include ArcSDE, SQL, ASP, ArcIMS, Java, and ColdFusion.
