Section 3: LandView Display Window
Move Current Location

The "Move Current Location button's function is to move the position of the Location Position Indicator (red dot) when the user clicks somewhere on the map. This is helpful when the user wants to get the coordinates or PLS of a particular location. It is also helpful when the user wants to add a particular location to the user defined list without having to type in its exact coordinates.

Note: The contents of the Where Window are also updated.

The "GoTo" button is another way to move the current location.  To access  this click on the  button. This brings up another graphical window aside from the Display and Where windows, a compass.  This compass window allows the user to move the current point's position (red dot) by entering a distance and direction from the current location.

Note: The direction is selected by pressing the button in the direction the user wants to go, while the distance is typed manually (in miles).
